I will be opening the Glasgow show on July 22nd at the Captains Rest.
Remember that time I thought I was an actor?
This is happening on Saturday. I’m rather excited.
Not only do I love Record Store Day, but I love Jonathan Snee and Struggletown Records.

I recently shot some photographs with my friend Martin Barker. We were kindly given access to the Filling Station restaurant in Glasgow first thing on a Sunday morning to be allowed to shoot without disturbing customers.
It was a lot of fun and my first ever shoot on my own.
Big thank you to the manager of the place, to Alan for setting it up and finally to Martin for being a total dude!

So last night (31.3.2012) Grant, Tom, Kieran and Steve played their last show as that line up.
I won’t go too much into why the line up is changing, if you scroll down on this here page, you’ll see why.
We played a headline show at the Twa Tams in Perth. Our hometown.
It’s a bit of a blur to be honest, but it was so much fun. It was the tightest we’ve played and the longest we’ve played too.
Really, I (grant) just want to write a thank you to each one of the guys and all they have done for me in helping me bring this project to life. If it wasn’t for them and Davey, I wouldn’t have played the shows I have or met the people I have at said shows. I never would have written the songs I did.
Onwards and upwards, if I have to…
The end of an era. The start of a new chapter.
Here is a very rough demo I’d gone and done.
Pioneers of Hopeless Nights.
Disclaimer: this is the first time I have ever recorded using anything. I’d normally just record a video but I figured out roughly how to use Garage band. I’m catching up!
